While PayPal is the payment processor for the Spook Central Shop, you do NOT need a PayPal account in order to checkout and pay for your order. Below is a quick tutorial showing how you can checkout and pay using a credit/debit card without needing (or logging into) a PayPal account.
1. During the Spook Central Shop checkout, click on the "Pay with PayPal" button/link.
2. The PayPal site will pop-up in a small window, so make sure you have your pop-up blocker turned off (or whitelist paypal.com). Click on the white "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" button/link.
3. PayPal will force you to enter an e-mail address because it really wants you to have a PayPal account.
4. If it finds that your e-mail address is tied to an account in its system, it will suggest (with a big blue button) that you log in. In nearly-hidden, tiny, nondescript print below that big blue "Log In" button will be a "Check out as a guest" link. Click on that if you don't have, or don't want to log in to, a PayPal account.
5. Now you get to enter in your credit/debit card information on PayPal's site. If you do NOT want to create a PayPal account, turn OFF the "Save info & create your PayPal account" option. Have I mentioned how much PayPal really wants you to have a PayPal account?!?
6. Once off, the blue button/link at the bottom that previously said "Create Account & Pay Now" on it now just says "Pay Now".
Once payment processing is complete, you will be taken back to the Spook Central Shop.
